I have two dozen issues of airbrush action magazine stashed away in a bin somewhere, but more importantly, I have most of them burned into my brain. I started this off using the various fx tools and gradients provided in Photoshop and Illustrator, but in the end I just ended up making the letters in illustrator and digitally painting in the chrome in photoshop and putting the finishing touches on in procreate. I have complicated relationship with the airbrush, in that I always enjoyed using it but I hated the hours of prep and cleaning involved.
